Just Checking In

I thought I’d pop in for a little Covid-19 inspired blog update. Like most of the country (or the world for that matter), I’m stuck in limbo. How long will this last? What will tomorrow bring? Is this the new normal? If so, for how long? 

Amid all this confusion and fear, writing has taken a back seat to more pressing concerns. I had planned a full calendar of content for March, but, my heart’s just not in it. The kitchen remodel post, garden planning, and vacation recap will have to wait. Or, in the case of the vacation recap, just plain old won’t happen. 

 There are bloggers cranking out content to meet the times (reading lists, homeschool tips, elaborate schedules for filling your day with arts and crafts, etc). That’s all well and good, and some of it helpful even. But, I can’t seem to go there.

 I do want to chronicle a bit about what’s happening in my personal life, as well as the world. I’d like something to look back on, or to pass on to my grandchildren when they as about this time. I’m not sure if that will look like blog posts or just personal writing I tuck away.

 In the meantime, if you’re reading this, stay safe, give yourself plenty of grace and buckle in, because we are on one heck of a wild ride.
